Work with us
We are a small team that hires slowly and carefully. If you genuinely care about Indian food, hospitality, and doing things properly, we would like to hear from you. Read our story and the chef profile before you apply — it gives you a sense of how we cook and what we expect.
Open roles
We do not maintain a public list of open roles — instead, we keep a rolling pipeline of CVs and contact you when something matches. The roles we typically hire for:
- Kitchen — tandoor / curry / prep: Indian background preferred but not required. Real experience cooking North Indian food. Willingness to start prep at 7 AM.
- Kitchen — pastry / sweets: Experience with traditional Indian sweets (gulab jamun, ras malai, kheer, halwa — see our desserts menu). Set hours.
- Service — server / captain: English and Thai required (Hindi a plus). Genuine interest in food, not just a paycheck.
- Service — bar: Cocktail experience. Comfort with Indian drink customs (lassi, chai service — see beverages).
- Office — accounting / admin (part-time): Bookkeeping, supplier coordination, basic HR.
What we offer
- Above-market wages for kitchen roles (we are happy to discuss specifics privately)
- One staff meal per shift (free, eating what we serve diners — see the full menu)
- Sundays off in rotation
- Training: kitchen team gets ongoing skill development from our chef
- Direct deposit, on-time monthly
- Social Security registration (legal employment, full compliance)
- Opportunity to grow — we do not have layers of management; high performers move up fast
How to apply
Send a CV (PDF or photo, English or Thai) and a brief paragraph about yourself to info@bharatflavours.com. Subject line: "Job application — [role you are interested in]". We reply to every CV within a week, even if there is no immediate opening.
For walk-in interest: come during a quiet time (3 PM – 5 PM is best) and ask to speak with the manager. Find us via the contact page.
What we are not looking for
We are not interested in CVs that are pure aspiration with no kitchen or service experience, candidates who cannot commit to consistent shift patterns, or anyone who treats hospitality as a side gig. This is a full-attention job. If you want to learn more about how we run things, see about BHARAT.
