Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BHARAT Flavours Of India ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Mr. Veg Company Limited, collects, uses, and protects information you provide via this website (bharatflavours.com), our BHARAT Android app, and our restaurant operations. See also our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy.
1. Who we are
Business name: BHARAT Flavours Of India
Legal entity: Mr. Veg Company Limited, a company registered in Thailand (Reg. No. 0205562011211)
Address: 2055 New Phetchaburi Road, Bang Kapi, Huai Khwang, Bangkok 10310, Thailand
Contact: info@bharatflavours.com
2. Information we collect
We collect the minimum information required to operate our restaurant and respond to your inquiries:
- Reservation form: Name, phone number, email (optional), party size, date, time, special requests
- Newsletter signup: Your email address, and nothing else — no name, no date of birth. We store it with the date you signed up and a one-way hash of your IP address (so we can spot abuse of the form). We have not started sending the newsletter yet. When we do, it will be monthly offers and news about new dishes, and every email will carry a one-click unsubscribe link; until then, email info@bharatflavours.com and we will delete your address.
- Contact form / WhatsApp: Whatever you choose to share with us
- Order details: If you order via our website or delivery partners, name, phone, address, order details
- BHARAT Android app: The app is a secure wrapper around this same website, so it shows the same pages and collects the same information listed here and nothing more. It asks for no device permissions — no location, contacts, camera or microphone — carries no advertising identifier, and sends no push notifications.
- Website analytics: We do not currently run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or any advertising pixel on bharatflavours.com. If we switch Google Analytics 4 on, it processes pseudonymous usage data — a randomly generated client ID, a truncated IP address, the pages you visited, device type and approximate country. That is pseudonymous personal data, not anonymous data, so the rights in section 6 apply to it. Our Cookie Policy always lists what is actually running.
- Cookies: See our Cookie Policy
3. How we use your information
- To confirm and manage your reservation
- To deliver your order
- To respond to your questions or feedback
- To send monthly offers and news about new dishes once the newsletter starts (newsletter subscribers only — see section 2)
- To improve our website (usage analytics, if and when we enable them — see section 2)
4. What we never do
- We never sell your information to third parties
- We never rent your contact list
- We never share your data with marketing companies
- We never store credit card numbers (payments are processed by external payment processors)
5. How we share information (limited cases)
- WhatsApp (Meta): Our reservation and contact forms finish by opening WhatsApp with your message pre-filled. Once you send it, that message — including anything you typed — is handled by Meta under its own privacy policy and reaches us as a normal WhatsApp chat
- Delivery platforms: If you order via GrabFood or LINE MAN, those platforms collect your data per their own policies
- Payment processors: Card payments go through licensed processors (Visa/Mastercard networks)
- Legal requirements: We comply with Thai law if formally required (e.g., court order)
6. Your rights
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you, and ask for a copy of it
- Rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restriction — ask us to suspend the use of your data while a question about it is resolved
- Portability — receive the data you gave us in a commonly used, machine-readable form, or have it sent to another provider
- Objection — object to our processing of your data, including for direct marketing
- Withdraw consent at any time — for the newsletter, email info@bharatflavours.com and we will delete your address (once we start sending, every email will also carry a one-click unsubscribe link), and the same applies to anything else you consented to
- Complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC), Thailand's supervisory authority under the PDPA B.E. 2562, at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@bharatflavours.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Data retention
We retain reservation data for up to 12 months for operational records. Newsletter subscribers are retained until they unsubscribe or ask us to delete the address. We are not currently running website analytics, so there is no analytics retention period; if we enable Google Analytics 4 we will set its event retention to 14 months and say so here. The Android app stores no separate records: a reservation, message or order sent through it is kept for exactly as long as the same request made on the website.
8. Security
Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Customer data is stored on hosted infrastructure with industry-standard security. We do not store credit card numbers ourselves. Access to customer data within our team is limited to operational staff who need it for their role.
9. Changes to this policy
If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date and post a notice on the website. For significant changes affecting how we use your data, we will email subscribers.
