About Kadai Paneer Naan Bomb (8 pcs)
Kadai paneer brings the iron-wok treatment to fresh paneer: paneer cubes seared with bell peppers, onion petals and a coarse, same-day-pounded kadai masala of coriander seed, dried chilli and black pepper. For the Naan Bomb we cook this mixture drier than the plated version, then seal it into eight small butter naan rounds and bake them in the charcoal tandoor.
This is the vegetarian bomb for spice lovers — where the Paneer Butter Masala version soothes, this one bites. The pepper-forward masala and charred capsicum give it a smoky, almost stir-fry character that stands up well against the buttery bread.
The fresh paneer goes into the wok soft, seared quickly so the outside catches colour while the middle stays tender. Served with paneer butter masala for dipping and mint chutney. Pair it with a sweet lassi if you want the classic hot-cold contrast.
Vegetarians and meat-eaters share most tables here; the menu has plenty for both.
The other five Naan Bombs — and which curry each one comes with — are on the Naan Bombs list, and our paneer page covers the rest of the paneer cooking, the curry it comes with included.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does this compare to the Paneer Butter Masala bomb?
Opposite ends of the paneer spectrum: butter masala is creamy, sweet-edged and very mild; kadai is drier, smokier and medium-spicy with black pepper and charred capsicum. Heat-seekers should choose kadai; comfort-seekers, butter masala.
What gives kadai paneer its flavour?
The kadai masala — coriander seeds, dried red chillies and black peppercorns dry-roasted and coarsely pounded the same day — plus high-heat searing with bell peppers and onion in an iron wok. The coarse grind is why the spices announce themselves so clearly.
How spicy should I expect it?
Medium. It is the spiciest of the vegetarian Naan Bombs, led by black pepper rather than raw chilli burn. A raita or sweet lassi alongside keeps it comfortable if you are unsure.
Is it suitable for vegetarians?
Yes — paneer, vegetables, spices and butter only. Like all our paneer dishes it contains dairy, so it is vegetarian but not vegan.
What arrives on the plate?
Eight sealed naan bombs brushed with butter, a bowl of paneer butter masala for dipping, and mint chutney. It shares well between two or three people, or stands as a lively vegetarian main for one.
