About Non-Veg Thali

A thali is the classic Indian format for a full meal on one platter: several dishes portioned into small bowls and set around a round metal tray, so you taste a range of preparations in a single sitting rather than committing to just one curry. The non-vegetarian version keeps that same balanced idea but builds the meal around meat, rounded out with lentils, vegetables, rice, bread and something sweet to close.

At BHARAT Flavours Of India the Non-Veg Thali typically centres on chicken, with a richer signature gravy alongside a second preparation, and sometimes a mutton dish depending on the day. Everything is halal-friendly: we use halal-marked chicken and mutton and cook no pork in our kitchen. The meat sits next to a dal, a vegetable, jeera rice, freshly made roti from the tawa, raita, a little salad and a piece of gulab jamun. The dishes rotate daily so the kitchen can use what is freshest, which is also why it is such a good way to sample several styles in one meal.

The work behind it is done from scratch. Our masalas are ground fresh, the curd for the raita is set in-house, the paneer is made daily, and the breads are rolled and cooked to order under our chef from Uttarakhand. The spice level generally lands at a comfortable medium, rich rather than fiery, with the cooling raita and rice there to balance the gravies. Served as a filling single portion, it makes a complete, satisfying meal and good value for the variety on the tray.

Vegetarians and meat-eaters share most tables here; the menu has plenty for both. Visit BHARAT →
