Indian Food on Sukhumvit, Bangkok
If you are staying anywhere on the Sukhumvit corridor — from Asoke and Phrom Phong down to Ekkamai — and you want authentic North Indian food, BHARAT Flavours Of India is a 5-10 minute taxi or BTS+walk away. We are at 2055 New Phetchaburi Road in Huai Khwang, which runs parallel to Sukhumvit just two streets north. Most diners walk over from the nearby hotels in under five minutes.
Why diners on Sukhumvit choose us
- Real charcoal tandoor. Not a gas convection imitation. Our tandoor runs at 480°C on real charcoal, which is what gives tandoori chicken its smoke and char.
- Fresh-ground masala every morning. No pre-made curry pastes, no shortcuts. Our chef from Uttarakhand grinds spices for each preparation.
- Halal-friendly. Halal-marked chicken (CP Foods, Betagro) and mutton sourced daily from Makro. No pork, no alcohol in food. Read our halal page.
- House-made paneer. Set in our kitchen every morning from full-fat milk, not bought as vacuum-packed blocks.
- 200+ dishes. North Indian classics plus regional Punjabi specialties. Full menu.
- 5★ on Google with growing reviews from hotel guests and Bangkok expats.
How to get to us from Sukhumvit
Three easy options depending on where on Sukhumvit you are:
- From Asoke / Phrom Phong / Nana: 5-8 minute taxi (฿60-80) or Grab. Most diners take a taxi straight to our address.
- From Sukhumvit 11 / 21 / 23 area: Easiest is to walk through Soi 23 toward New Phetchaburi Rd, then turn east. About 10-12 minutes on foot in cool weather.
- By BTS+walk: Get off at Asok BTS or Phetchaburi MRT. From Phetchaburi MRT we are about 15 minutes walk; from Asok, take a short taxi.
Free parking next door at the Bangchak gas station — they kindly allow our diners to park.
What to order on your first visit
If this is your first time, here is the highest-hit-rate combination for a table of 2-3:
- One tandoor starter — Chicken Tikka or Paneer Tikka, finished over real charcoal.
- One signature curry — Butter Chicken (the #1 most-ordered worldwide) or Paneer Butter Masala.
- One iconic dal — Dal Makhani, slow-cooked overnight on low flame.
- Bread — Butter Naan and Garlic Naan from the tandoor.
- Rice — Jeera Rice for everyday, or a Chicken or Veg Biryani if someone at the table wants a one-plate meal.
Expect to spend ฿250-450 per person for a proper sit-down dinner, less for lunch.
