It is the ideal small, strong finish to a heavy North Indian meal for those who want a quick lift rather than a long drink, the bitterness cutting cleanly through the richness of a spiced dinner. It also pairs beautifully with our sweeter desserts, the dark coffee balancing the sugar of a gulab jamun or a serving of kulfi. Served hot; let us know if you would like a double.
