About Regency
Regency is one of Thailand's most widely sold brandies, a smooth and affordable local spirit that is a fixture of bars and tables across the country. We serve it from the bar as a single measure, neat, over ice, or — in the popular Thai style — as a peg topped with soda and a squeeze of fresh lime, which turns it into a long, easy-drinking highball.
As a brandy, Regency carries a little more sweetness and warmth than a neutral spirit, which gives it a gentle affinity with rich, spiced food. Served long with soda over plenty of ice, it stays light and refreshing on the palate, the effervescence cutting through the oil of a tandoori platter or a buttery curry much as a beer would, while its faint sweetness takes the edge off chilli heat. It is an unfussy, sociable drink built for slow sipping through a shared meal.
Try it as a soda highball alongside our grilled starters and heavier mains, or neat over ice after the meal as a digestif. The bar will mix it to your preferred strength — just ask. All spirits at BHARAT are served from the bar only and are never used in the food; the kitchen is pork-free and halal-friendly throughout. Spirits are served to guests aged twenty and over in line with Thai law. As with any spirit, a measure is pure alcohol, so please drink responsibly and at your own pace.
Vegetarians and meat-eaters share most tables here; the menu has plenty for both. Visit BHARAT →
